I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. (wait 3 seconds)

 

We pause to acknowledge that Odle Middle School resides on the traditional and occupied land of the Coast Salish Peoples – past, present, and future. We honor their connection to the region, pay respect to Coast Salish Elders past and present, and stand in solidarity through their struggles.

 

The due date for Library Books is Tuesday, 6/7. Please check your home, locker or backpack and get those books turned in. On June 8th, all overdue books will post as fines on student accounts and generate a hold on pre-ordered yearbooks. Don’t get stuck with a fine, please find and return those books right away.

 

Attention Students who identify as Black, Indigenous, and people of color(BIPOC). BOOM has started! See the poster outside the main office for details. BOOM is happening virtually until June 16th. If you have any questions at all please see Mrs. Carroll.

 

At the end of this school year we will collect your laptop so that we can update it with the latest software. Make sure you bring your laptop to school on June 16th and 17th. You will keep your bag, charger, and stylus over the summer and use them next year. Please remember to backup everything on your computer to your OneDrive or you will lose it over the summer.

 

 

Do you have a friend in Choir Class or Choir Club? Do you love to sing? Then Come and join our choir celebration on Thursday June 16th from 4 to 6p.m. on the stage!! There will be a small performance by both groups, followed by karaoke and food. All are welcome to sing during Karaoke, so come prepared with a song if you want to participate. Tickets are $10, and will be sold during 1st 2nd and 3rd lunch, outside the office starting Thursday June 2nd. Cash only. We are excited to see you there!

 

 

Students – so far this year you have earned a total of 14,607 OARRS! The last prize option of the year is 5 minutes early to lunch! Keep being respectful, responsible, and safe!

 

Today you have a special schedule because of ASB elections. You will stay in your 2nd period class for an extra 30 minutes to watch the ASB candidate’s campaign videos. Only 6th and 7th graders will vote for next year’s candidates. 8th graders – you get to look forward to doing this in high school in a couple months! 6th and 7th graders – make sure you have your laptop for 2nd period so that you can vote for next year’s ASB officers!

 

Today’s lunch is a breaded chicken leg with baked beans and a wheat roll.
