We learn and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.

 

 It’s time to think about June and signing your friend’s yearbooks by pre-ordering your $26 Odle Yearbook . Pre-order from November 6th through November 19th on the Odle school website or in the main office. The last  pre-order window is January 15th through January 28th.

 

And now for the News in Science…Sea stars, also known as starfish, have a radial body plan, which means their body parts are organized around a central axis. However, their ancestors had much different body plans with two symmetrical sides. Scientists have discovered that modern day sea stars evolved from those ancestors to become, basically, walking heads and mouths with little to no body at all!
