Hey Vikings!  Dance tickets are currently on sale in the front office. You can come before school, after school, or during your lunch. Presale tickets are $5 if you have paid your ASB fee.  If you haven’t paid your ASB fee or buy your ticket at the door, they will cost $10.  All tickets will come with a snack and drink.  You can also purchase pizza for $2 a slice.  Join us on January 26 from 6-8 for an evening of dancing and fun!

 

National Junior Honor Society Members need to submit their Service Hours Form to Mrs. Black by January 31st. Any questions, see Mrs. Black in room 233 or email her.

 

January 2024 is Americans of Chinese Descent Month in Washington State. Yo-yo Ma is an American cellist. He was born in 1955, in Paris, France and educated in America. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras around the world. Throughout his career, Ma has performed for nine presidents, recorded more than 90 albums, won 18 Grammy Awards, and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

 

The Odle Dance Showcase is Wednesday next week, January 10th at Sammamish High School. Doors open at 6:00pm and the show starts at 6:30pm. Make sure to get your tickets from any Odle dancer, or from Ms. Wlasichuk in the dance studio room 171. Entrance to the show is by cash donation at the door. Hope to see you there!

 

Hungry? Eat breakfast at home or at school. Bring a lunch or buy lunch at school. Need a snack? Bring one from home or stop by the Family Connections Center. The health room will no longer be able to provide snacks.

 

Attention 7th period teachers! Next Thursday is our College Spirit Gear contest! During 7th period Leadership students will stop by your room to count  how many students are wearing college gear and the class with the most representation wins! The winning class will be announced on Friday.

 

Today’s clubs are Rainbow Club in room 119, Chess Club in room 233, science club in rooms 115 and 117, jazz club in room 189, and math club in rooms 231, 245, and 255.

 

Today’s lunch is a turkey bacon cheeseburger or Impossible burger with fries.
