Choice School Applications for the 2020-21 school year will be accepted from 9:00 am on Monday, December 7, 2020 to Friday January 15, 2021 at 4:30 pm. Offer notifications will be emailed in February 2021. This application process is for incoming kindergarten or 6th grade entry to the appropriate choice school or program. Enrolling to Puesta del Sol 2020-2021
We are no longer accepting Choice School Applications for the 2020-21 school year. Results will be sent by the beginning of March 2020. Per State law and District Policy 3110, a child must be 5 years old on or before August 31 of the year of entry to kindergarten. Early entrance testing is available only to residents of the Bellevue School District and the children of full-time District employee. If your child does not meet these qualifications, please do not submit an application.

Admission to Puesta del Sol is granted on a space available basis to those students selected under District Procedure 3120.2P
Students are primarily admitted at Kindergarten. At the discretion of the principal in conjunction with the Student Placement Office, students may be admitted into grades other than Kindergarten.
Once admitted into Puesta del Sol, students may remain in the International Spanish Academy Program through graduation, unless the student moves out of the Bellevue School District.
If a student is withdrawn from Puesta del Sol for any reason, the student may forfeit his/her place at the school. Should the student wish to apply for readmission at a later date, the family must establish residency in the District and, if there is no waiting list and there is capacity in the requested grade, the student may be readmitted at the principal’s discretion. Students will need to be evaluated for their Spanish language proficiency prior to being readmitted.
