Women’s History Month Special: Marie Curie, a pioneering chemist, won not just one Nobel Prize in her lifetime, but two, for her groundbreaking work in radioactivity. Curie was the first woman to be granted a Nobel Prize and later became the first person to earn a second one. Curie’s daughter Irène followed in her mother’s footsteps, earning a doctorate in physics and conducting important research on synthesized radioactive elements.

Tigers! The Tillicum Concert Choir won overall categories and divisions in a three-way tie receiving the highest score in the festival. Please give them a huge congratulations!! Way to go Tigers!

Prearranged Absence: Tigers – If you will be missing any time before or after Spring Break in April, you will need a Prearranged Absence form to be excused.  District policies allow 5 days per year to be excused for things like competitions, travel or family events.  If you are gone for more than 5 days during the course of the school year for these types of absences, the additional days will be unexcused. Prearranged absence forms can be picked up at the attendance office or printed off from the School website.

Lost & Found Donation on April 8. The lost and found is overflowing with PE uniforms, warm winter coats, and water bottles! We will be donating items during spring break – April 8 – so please come claim your items prior to that. Encourage your students to look through the bin during while they are at school or stop by and find their lost items yourself!
