Attend Spring for Schools on March 30! Registration for Bellevue Schools Foundation‘s annual fundraiser is free. The event not only offers a chance to explore student initiatives funded by the Foundation, it’s a fun evening to connect with fellow BSD families and teachers and celebrate our community. As a reminder, Bellevue Schools Foundation provides critical funding to our school — learn about the programs supported in our classrooms.

Hopefully you saw Dr. Aramaki’s blog about the importance of funding from BSF at this time. Community donations to BSF will safeguard the transformational opportunities that set BSD apart nationally. We hope to see you at Spring for Schools on March 30! If you want to learn more about BSF and/or the event, please don’t hesitate to contact [email protected].

Panorama SEL Survey.  On Thursday April 25th Tillicum students will participate in the Panorama survey during 6th period.   The invaluable data collected will serve as a foundation for refining our educational practices and pinpointing areas of strength and growth as perceived by students themselves. Rest assured, all student data from this survey, like any other screeners or assessments, will be treated with utmost confidentiality and security.

Reporting Safety Concerns. Bullying and safety concerns can always be reported to any staff member at school.  The Secondary Level Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying Incident Reporting Form is available to all families in the office. Finally, Bellevue School District also utilizes an anonymous reporting tool called SafeSchools Alert through which anyone can make a verbal or written report of harassment, intimidation or bullying. Information on how to submit a report via any of these methods is available on the district website at www.bsd405.org/help/report.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
