Student Laptops Must Be Returned in June!

Q: Who needs to turn in their laptop?

A: This year all students will need to turn in their laptops for re-imaging over the summer.

  • Seniors and students leaving BSD must return laptops, chargers, bags, and styluses.
  • All other students will turn in only their laptops. This means they should keep chargers and styluses in a safe place they can find again in the fall.

Q: What if my student is attending summer school?

A: If your student will need a laptop over the summer (for example – for summer school), please contact our tech specialist, Rob Samsel ([email protected]), as soon as you know.

Q: What if my student’s laptop, charger, or stylus are not working correctly?

A: Rob is available in the tech office every morning from 7:45-12 PM. Please have your student go to see him for help! If a charger or stylus is not working, the student should bring it with them to be swapped out. We do not usually charge any fines for broken chargers or styluses.

Q: What if my student has lost their charger or stylus?

A: Have your student see Carol Anne Yamamoto in the main office. She will put the cost on the student’s account and give them a new charger or stylus. (If the cost is a concern for your family, please talk with Carol Anne for options)

  • Charger – $34
  • Stylus – $28

Q: When will laptops be collected?

A: Seniors: June 15; Grades 6-8: June 17; Grades 9-11: June 20
