As you get ready to enjoy a wonderful Spring holiday week, we wanted to share with you this great reminder for wellness.  Recently there was a training at NHE, which focused on fostering respectful relationships between students and staff to promote well-being and safety.  It fostered great conversations and time to reflect upon all the ways we want to support students in experiencing success at NHE and to think about those aspects that might make it more challenging.  One aspect that seemed very appropriate for reflection was this Wellness Wheel.  There are many stressors that can keep a student’s wheel from being balanced, which makes it more challenging for the student to be at his/her best. Understanding what these stressors are can better help us find resources and support for their different needs, which positively affects well-being and behavior. The same is true for us as parents and caregivers.  So, we hope you will take some time this holiday to check in on your wellness and to fill up those buckets to create balance, joy, and rejuvenation in your lives. We look forward to seeing you all on the 15th!

All our best wishes for a restful holiday ahead.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
