Today is Tuesday, September 4th.

 

French club will start on October 18 and will be meeting monthly on the 3rd Thursday of each month.  To join the club, please pay the registration fee of $20.00, at the main office by September 28th.  For any question about the club, please, see Mrs. Vahedi in room 129 after school.

This week, you will be getting your student laptop. That means it’s time to make sure you are thinking about your online safety! September is Online Safety Month at Odle. As you get your computer this week, make sure you are thinking about the ways you keep yourself safe, from making sure you have a strong a private password, to keeping all of your personal information private, to being careful about what files you open or links you click.

A strong digital citizen is someone who can use digital tools in a safe and smart way, so as you set up your new school device (or as you review the devices you have at home), please make sure you are making choices with your digital security in mind.

The first Thursday 30 OARRS drawing of the year is this Thursday, September 6th. Please, neatly print you first and last name on your OARRS and place them in the OARRS box of your choice. To the right of the main office door is a table with three OARRS boxes. Choose which drawings you want to be part of and put your OARRS in the box. Remember that to earn OARRS you need to display respectful, responsible, and safe choices.

After school opportunities are starting today. So, every school day, except Wednesday, there is…

  • Club Jubiliee in the upper Gym from 3:30-4:45
  • Study Zone in the Commons from 3:30-4:45
  • Tutorial in classrooms from 3:30-4:00
  • And the Activity bus will begin running Tuesday leaving at 4:50.

 

Fiber Club will meet Tuesdays after tutorial in room 119. The official start day is Tuesday, Sept 11. Come learn how to knit and crochet! New crafters welcome.  We are happy to teach beginners.  Yarn and tools are available.
