Attention young scholars: If you dig topics like Space Colonization, Drones, and Stress Management, then the Future Problem Solvers club is for you! We meet every Wednesday morning starting September 12th at 7:15am in the Commons. Can’t wait to see you there!

Hey, guys! ASB applications are available in the office and are due Monday, September the 17. Today we will introduce what the Presidential Advisor is. The Presidential Advisor is the person who assists the president and the vice president with their duties, serves as a mentor to the president and the vice president, and conducts research for the Executive Board. You can suggest ideas to the president or the vice president. And, 6 & 7 graders, don’t be scared run for a position. Just 8th graders can be president. If you feel like you are good at managing ideas and can problem-solve well, then Presidential Advisor is the job for you.

Calling all students interested in being in the Robotics club. If you are interested in the challenge of designing, building, programming and competing with robots, then this club is for you.

You must be able to meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 8:30 every week, as well as be available to compete in competitions on Saturdays.

If interested, fill out an application form (found in the office or get one from Mr. Westerside) and take it home and have your parents read and sign it. Then place it in the box in the office by Friday Sept 14th at 4pm.  If you have any questions, talk to Mr. Westerside.

ALL PE students bring your laptops to class. Please make sure your computers are charged.

After school opportunities are starting today. So, every school day, except Wednesday, there is…

  • Club Jubiliee in the upper Gym from 3:30-4:45
  • Study Zone in the commons from 3:30-4:45
  • Tutorial in classrooms from 3:30-4:00
  • And the Activity bus will begin running Tuesday leaving at 4:50.

Open Gym is up and running. Come to the gym before school if you do not want to hang out in the halls or the commons. It happens Monday through Friday.

Fiber Club will meet Tuesdays after tutorial in room 119. The official start day is Tuesday, Sept 11. Come learn how to knit and crochet! New crafters welcome. We are happy to teach beginners. Yarn and tools are available.

Locker update. If you still do not have a locker or submitted a blue sheet about a locker issue, you will get called down to the office by the end of the week. Please wait to get called down before asking about your locker. Thank you for your patience.

Not sure what bus route you need to take to get home? If you have questions about your bus route, please be sure to ask before the end of the school day to ensure you will make it on the bus in time.
