Don’t forget, ASB applications are available in the office and are due Monday, September the 17. Remember, anyone can run for any position except for president, which is 8th grade only. Today we will introduce what the Treasurer is. The Treasurer is the person who handles the money and decides what the school does with the money. They also help maintain accurate account information, coordinates fundraisers, tracking items and other things. The Treasurer keeps track of inventory and decides what needs to be bought, and signs ASB Executive Board meeting minutes and purchases. So if you feel like you’re good at crunching numbers and banking, consider running for Treasurer.
