We learn and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.

 

Pre-order a copy of the Odle Yearbook from now through January 28th on line through the district payment portal or in the main office. Yearbooks cost $26.  This is the LAST pre-order window. There will be a VERY SMALL number of books for sale in June. So, guarantee you have a copy by pre-ordering today!

 

Hey Vikings!  Dance tickets are currently on sale in the front office. You can come before school, after school, or during your lunch. Presale tickets are $5 if you have paid your ASB fee.  If you haven’t paid your ASB fee or buy your ticket at the door, they will cost $10.  All tickets will come with a snack and drink.  You can also purchase pizza for $2 a slice.  Join us THIS FRIDAY from 6-8 for an evening of dancing and fun! Remember Vikings: bags, purses and backpacks will not be allowed in the dance.

 

The online student store will be open Thursday at 8 am and closes Friday at 4 pm of this week. Keep earning those OAARS!!!

 

This month we celebrate Americans of Chinese Descent History Month. Local Chinese musician Mrs. Carrie Wang is invited to Odle Middle School to introduce Pipa, a traditional Chinese music instrument to Odle students.  This Friday during the 2nd lunch we will hold a special event open to ALL the students and school staff. Feel free to join us and appreciate the magic of Pipa. Time: 12:10-12:35pm Friday January 26. Location: Orchestra classroom.

 

Jubilee Open Gym will be CLOSED today during tutorial and activity time.

 

Today’s clubs are National Science Bowl in room 245, and Art Club in room 233.

Today’s lunch is a new menu item! It is Kung Pao chicken with sticky brown rice and steamed green beans.
