| Dear Superstar Families,
Thank you for supporting an outstanding first week of school and FIRST DAY for our Kindergarteners!
Our students came into their first few days of school with excitement, confidence and joy. We were able to ring the bell on the first day of school for all of our students and ring in the new school year with a fun schoolwide celebration and to continue to nurture traditions at Stevenson. Your students have adapted back to school routines and expectations with ease and classes are already hard at work learning, growing and thriving!
Our goal is to send a family newsletter every other Friday, so approximately twice a month. In each newsletter, we will feature school updates, district updates, as well as honor different cultures and celebrations that make our community so special and beautiful. Feel free to share with me any community events or cultural celebrations you’d like featured in our community newsletter.
We hope each of you have had a great first few days of school and a lovely and enjoyable weekend. It has been a true joy to see your children back at Stevenson for another year of learning and growth!
And we cannot wait to welcome our preschool families for their first day of school on MONDAY, September 11th. It is going to be a great day!

Estimadas Familias de Superestrellas,
¡Gracias por apoyar una excelente primera semana de clases y el PRIMER DÍA para nuestros estudiantes de kindergarten!
Nuestros estudiantes llegaron a sus primeros días de clases con entusiasmo, confianza y alegría. Pudimos tocar el timbre el primer día de clases para todos nuestros estudiantes y dar la bienvenida al nuevo año escolar con una celebración divertida para toda la escuela y continuar fomentando las tradiciones en Stevenson. ¡Sus estudiantes se han adaptado a las rutinas y expectativas del regreso a la escuela con facilidad y las clases ya están trabajando arduamente para aprender, crecer y prosperar!
Nuestro objetivo es enviar un boletín familiar cada dos viernes, es decir, aproximadamente dos veces al mes. En cada boletín, presentaremos actualizaciones de la escuela y del distrito, además de honrar diferentes culturas y celebraciones que hacen que nuestra comunidad sea tan especial y hermosa. No dude en compartir conmigo cualquier evento comunitario o celebración cultural que le gustaría que aparezca en nuestro boletín comunitario.
Esperamos que cada uno de ustedes haya tenido unos excelentes primeros días de clases y un fin de semana encantador y agradable. ¡Ha sido un verdadero placer ver a sus hijos de regreso en Stevenson para un año más de aprendizaje y crecimiento!
Y estamos ansiosos por darles la bienvenida a nuestras familias de preescolar en su primer día de clases el LUNES 11 de septiembre. ¡Va a ser un gran día!

| Stevenson’s Curriculum Night is Wednesday, October 4 from 5:30-7:00pm. For now, please hold this date and time and more detailed information will come out soon about sessions and schedule for this in-person event.
During the classroom session you will learn about classroom expectations, key topics and strategies to support your child.

| Rainier Athletes, Bellevue School District’s long-term mentoring partner, is seeking volunteer mentors who can give four hours per month to be an advocate and ally for students. The mission of Rainier Athletes is to affirm our youth’s sense of purpose and belonging by intentionally connecting a community of teachers, coaches, families and mentors. Now is the perfect time to join the RA mentor team for the 2023-2024 school year.
