Quarterly volunteer updates are as follows:

Jubilee REACH in the Schools (Jan-Mar) Quarter 3

In partnership with Bellevue Public Schools, Jubilee REACH staff called Site Coaches run the before and after school sports, clubs, and programs. Jubilee’s Winter Season II activities are Middle School Coed Flag Football, and Elementary School Clubs (cooking club, book club, art club, etc.). Volunteers in need are 1) flag football head coaches, 2) club assistants, 3) flag football assistant coaches, 4) game day assistants, and 5) substitute coaches or refs. There are various levels of time commitment. No experience required.

Jubilee REACH Breakfast Crews (Sept-June)

A volunteer crew of 2-4 people is needed each school-day morning from 6:30 am-7:45 am to cook breakfast for 20-25 children during our Before School Program. The crew chooses the menu and provides the food, preparing it in the Jubilee REACH kitchen.

Kid REACH (Oct-March)

The Kid REACH tutoring program happens every Tuesday evening in the Jubilee REACH Center and may expand to Thursday evenings this year.  We’re looking for volunteers to partner with children to assist them with homework, encourage them and be another stable adult figure in their life.

Jubilee REACH Thrift Store (All Year)

The Jubilee REACH Thrift Store offers quality goods, a hospitable shopping experience, and jobs to restore lives. It empowers families in need to lead healthy lives with furniture and household essentials. We need volunteers to 1) sort donations, 2) move things to the retail space, and 3) do general organizing.  Shifts are available every day of the week during the daytime hours.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
