• At Newport, we believe that students must practice the skills they will need to successfully navigate college, career, and life. Registration is a critical opportunity for that.
  • Several documents ensure that families can help prepare their students for that meeting:
    • In February, we will publish a registration calendar with opportunities for parents to support their student.
    • See a comprehensive list and descriptions of the many resources that will help you.
    • We plan a parent Question & Answer evening for each grade.
      • We will post links to the sessions on the school calendar when they are scheduled during March.
      • Recordings will be posted on our Counseling page after the events.
    • If after your student meets with their counselor and you still have questions and concerns, you may email the counselor. We discourage phone calls because the counselors book their entire day with student appointments. They meet individually with each one of our nearly 1,800 students during the February-March registration window.
The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
