Bellevue School District is pleased to offer our families access to Naviance. It is a web-based college and career research and planning tool for students, parents, and counselors.

How do students access Naviance?

Students and families can access Naviance by clicking here.

Students sign in by using the “Login with Clever” button.

When asked, students will need to use the “Log in with Active Directory” button. The email and password are the student’s regular BSD email and password.

More information on passwords can be found on the BSD OneNote page. Problems with student usernames and passwords can be directed to [email protected].

If you are applying to any Common App schools, please watch this video for instructions on how to fill out the Common App FERPA and how to match it to your Naviance Account. Students will submit the FERPA release authorization within the Common App account, not their Naviance account. The student must complete the education section within Common App first, then complete the FERPA release authorization.

The FERPA release authorization is found within the Recommenders and FERPA section of the my colleges tab, and the “release authorization” link must be checked with the FERPA decision.

Students can only see the Recommenders and FERPA section once they’ve added at least one school to their application.

Students must add counselors and teachers through Naviance but must add other recommenders and advisors through Common App. Counselors and teachers will log in through Naviance to complete recommendation forms.

Naviance can help students to:

  • Create a four-year plan
  • Explore careers
  • Identify personality and learning styles
  • Research colleges
  • Prepare for SAT and ACT
  • Receive notifications and emails from counselors
  • Learn about acceptance rates with Scattergrams
  • Research scholarships
  • Work on their resume

Transcripts for College Applications – Students need to have a BSD FERPA Waiver form on file in order to be sent electronically through Naviance.  All students who wish to release your records including transcripts and recommendations to college(s) must sign and turn in this waiver.

Former Interlake High School Students:

Graduates of Interlake High School must contact the District Student Records office.  You can visit the Student Records webpage for more information on ordering transcripts.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
