The Community Planning Team Update!

Your community planning team is hard at work, meeting again this week to design fun and exciting experiences to support the building of community and friendships across our schools.  And as spring and the end of the year approaches, there are many opportunities already on the horizon. Our team is working to finalize dates for evening visits to Spiritridge for Eastgate families and to Woodridge for Spiritridge AL families.  Families will receive invitations to specific events based on their school enrollment as the dates become closer.  Another opportunity in the works is student “field trips” from Eastgate to Spiritridge this spring.  This is an opportunity to tour the new surroundings and get to know classmates from the same grade level that will be peers next year.

We are also excited to share that there are upcoming staff get togethers coming soon.  The community planning team recognizes that strong, cohesive staffs lead to the best outcomes for students.  Our Spiritridge Advanced Learning staff and Woodridge staff are looking forward to community building and getting-to-know-you time in April, and our Eastgate staff is excited to get to know and spend time with our Spiritridge staff in early May! Stay tuned and see the latest updates in next week’s newsletter!

Finally, as you read these newsletters, some questions may arise.  For questions specific to your school, please feel free to reach out to me. For questions about transportation, enrollment or boundary changes, reach out to district staff through our “Let’s Talk” platform.
