The Heritage Language Project underscores our district’s commitment to providing an equitable, accessible, and inclusive learning environment for all students. Through our current HLP and diversifying our heritage language program, we are actively valuing and respecting the diverse identities and backgrounds of our students. Through innovative curriculum and program development, we hope to ensure that students’ cultural heritage becomes a vital component of their educational experience, contributing to their academic success. Our HLP initiative not only aims to foster greater linguistic proficiency among our community, but also sustains students’ culture and language. This reflects our belief that students’ diverse contributions are essential to fostering a beloved community.
