Bellevue Digital Discovery School
We are accepting 24-25 school year applications for our elementary and secondary programs.
24-25 Key Dates:
- Beginning of the year: School starts September 3, 2024
- First Quarter ends: November 1, 2024
- First Semester ends: January 24, 2025
- Third Quarter: ends April 4, 2025
- Last Day of the School Year: June 18, 2025
The application period for the 23-24 school year will close April 26, 2024.

Bellevue Digital Discovery offers an innovative online learning option for K-12 students in Washington state. Students need to apply to join the program.
Bellevue Digital discovery offers both elementary and secondary programs.
- In the elementary program, BSD homeroom teachers are the primary teachers for students utilizing our BSD curriculum. Students also engage in activities led by teacher specialists including art, music, library and physical education, building community and maximizing school engagement.
- Secondary students take classes via the Imagine Edgenuity online learning platform with Imagine Edgenuity teachers. Students also attend an academic seminar, hosted by BSD teachers, that builds peer community, creates strong social emotional learning, and supports online learning success.
Preferred entry is at the beginning of the school year, but families are welcome to apply at any time. Students who graduate from Digital Discovery will be awarded a Bellevue School District diploma.
