Career and Technical Education ensures flexible and relevant
learning experiences that keep students engaged in their classes while providing a real-world, career-oriented curriculum. CTE students acquire skills and knowledge relevant to future careers, and enhance academic achievement so they will be prepared for entry into college and the workforce.

Career and Technical Education courses offer students the opportunity to explore and prepare for post-secondary programs through community/technical or four-year colleges. A sequence of courses can provide students with entry-level employment skills for internships, apprenticeships and preparation for industry certification.
