Kindergarten is an exciting and important step in your child’s success in school. The Bellevue School District is committed to providing a variety of experiences and opportunities so that your child’s educational experience is productive as well as enjoyable. Our goal is for each child to become a life‐long learner.
Do you have a child or know children who are starting Kindergarten next fall? Are you wondering what to expect? To help families transition to their next step in the 2020-21 school year, every neighborhood school offers a parent information session for incoming kindergartners, sixth graders and ninth graders.
Learn about all things kindergarten. You are invited to a special presentation given by Bellevue School District board certified kindergarten teachers. For more information, visit our Learn About All Things Kindergarten page.
We offer free full‐day Kindergarten program in every elementary school. Kindergartners attend school on the same schedule as those in grades 1-5.
