Several exciting events are taking place between Eastgate and Spiritridge. In May, teachers from both communities will be together to get to know each other and participate in professional development. Students in the AL program at Spiritridge completed a survey gathering input and ideas for building community with their Woodridge peers. Tuesday, April 25, from 6:00-7:00 Eastgate families are invited to a tour of Spiritridge. This evening event will be hosted by Mr. Scott Hetherington, the current Spiritridge Principal. Finally, Eastgate and Spiritridge PTSAs have met and will be sending invites to both communities for upcoming events, including:

  • April 19, “Chalk the Walk” at Spiritridge
  • April 21, Science Fair at Eastgate
  • April 28, Multi-Cultural Night at Spiritridge
  • May 10, Science Fair at Spiritridge,
  • May 12, Bite of Eastgate at Eastgate

 

Several exciting events are taking place between Spiritridge Advanced Learning (AL) and Woodridge. In April and May teachers from both communities will be together to get to know each other and participate in professional development. Also, our team is working to coordinate Spiritridge AL teacher visits to Woodridge during Eagle Advisory time so they can learn more about this fantastic Woodridge program. Students in the AL program at Spiritridge completed a survey gathering input and ideas for building community with their Woodridge peers. Thursday, May 4, from 6:00 – 6:45 pm, Spiritridge AL Families are invited to a Tour of Woodridge.  This evening event will be hosted by Ms. Grigsby, Woodridge Principal. Finally, our Woodridge PTSA is reaching out to Spiritridge AL families, inviting participation and membership in the Woodridge PTSA.  Be on the lookout right after Spring Break for an invitation to the Woodridge Carnival!
