The Bellevue School District began the Pacific Northwest AP® Institute as professional development for teachers during the summer of 1997. Since then over 12,000 participants from 48 states and 45 countries have attended. The institute is endorsed by the College Board, and is open to all teachers – not just to those who teach Advanced Placement classes.
The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
The Vision of the Bellevue School District is to affirm and inspire each and every student to learn and thrive as creators of their future world.
