students walking into school in unorganized line

The week of April 3, Regional Teams met week to discuss:

  • Mascots, school colors and student and family engagement in the process — if consolidated schools choose to explore options other than adopting the current welcoming school mascot.
  • Special education professional learning on inclusionary practices.
  • Social emotional learning and mental health supports for students as they transition between schools.
    • Note: Many schools welcome new students each year and throughout the school year.
