students walking into school in unorganized line

The week of April 17, Regional Teams met to discuss:

  • Setting up teacher school visits, which would enable teachers to see the school layout, understand systems in place, observe inclusive practices in action, and observe computer science integration.
  • Class placement processes to ensure that multiple perspectives are included in the creation of balanced classes.
  • Planning/implementing professional learning opportunities for staff members on student and program needs (e.g., Students with disabilities, inclusion, Advanced Learning practices, social emotional learning, etc.)
  • Family connections.
  • Student connections, including implementation and/or results from recent student surveys and next steps.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
