Did you know January is School Board Recognition Month? School board of directors volunteer their time to serve our community and are elected by voters to lead and oversee the vision of the Bellevue School District. Governor Jay Inslee issued a proclamation to mark the occasion.

Bellevue’s board of directors is made up of five community members who represent geographical districts and they include former students in the Bellevue School District and parents of current and former students. They are lawyers, doctors, educators and volunteers and bring together a collection of diverse and unique experiences and backgrounds. Thank you to our board members for their service!

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
