Your child(ren) may qualify for free or reduced priced meals as well as other benefits including a waiver for some school fees. Qualification is based on household income.

The online application only takes a few minutes. Families without access to the internet may utilize computers located at their school, at a Family Connections Center, at public libraries, or they may contact Nutrition Services at (425) 456-4507 for assistance. Nutrition Services has designated a computer in their office for the purpose of assisting families during normal business hours (7:00am – 3:30pm).

If your student qualifies for free or reduced price meals, they may be eligible for decreased fees to participate in other school programs. Complete Part 5 of the application (Information Sharing) to give permission to Nutrition Services to share school meal eligibility information with other school programs.

Parents will be notified by mail when the application has been processed. Applications are typically processed within 48 hours. Please send money or a meal to school with your student until they are approved. Families are responsible for any charges incurred.

Returning Students

Returning students maintain their prior year’s free/reduced eligibility for the first 30 school days, or until a new application is processed. If a returning student does not have a new application processed by the 30th school day (October 11, 2018), they will automatically be transferred to a paid account on the next school day. Families are responsible for any charges incurred.

Please notify Nutrition Services if a returning student has a newly enrolled sibling so that we may extend the 30 school day eligibility to the new student. Families will still need to complete a new application to avoid any unnecessary charges.
