It was wonderful to see so many of our families at the PTA Cultural Festival even on Friday night. There were beautiful displays that including thoughtful activities and crafts for families to engage in. The food was delicious at each booth. Thank you so much to the families who volunteered their time to share a little about their culture with all of us. And thank you to our PTA volunteers and Board Members who helped put together a great inclusive community event for all of us to come together at Wilburton to learn and enjoy each other’s company.

Parent and Community K-7 Math Committee Bellevue School District is continuing to develop our collective vision for high-quality mathematics instruction. We are forming a committee of BSD educators, leaders and community members to continue the work that our K-7 colleagues started last spring. This work will lead us into a process to find the best curricular resources for Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2 that align with our vision for exceptional educational opportunities for students.

The committee will start work this spring to identify resources for pilot and/or experimental use during the 2022-2023 school year and make recommendations for full adoption in the 2023-2024 school year. You can learn more and express your interest in serving on the committee, go here.

You can learn more about the work happening across mathematics, P-12, in BSD on our website.
