Wilburton Elementary School
The roof is moving toward completion and the building envelope is being sealed. Windows and glazing are moving along from north to south on both east and west sides of the buildings. Interior drywall and painting activities have started in the north portion of the building and will be continuing south. Site work is also ramping up to support landscaping and finish activities. We are working towards starting the boardwalk at the east frontage and other activities to support access to the site.
Tillicum Middle School
Tillicum’s interior is progressing! The main and auxiliary gyms are being painted and basketball backboards are being readied for installation. Mechanical commissioning is now underway with the start-up of mechanical units planned for May. Site work is taking shape with concrete sidewalks and stairs being poured as weather permits. Work will soon begin on the main track and field area on the south portion of the site.
Stevenson Elementary School
Interior finishes in the classroom wing at the new Stevenson are close to being complete! Additionally, work on connecting the boiler room systems to the rest of the school is underway, which will allow startup and commissioning of the systems later this spring. As for exteriors, siding is well under way and is beginning to be visible from NE 8th, and activities to support the installation of the solar system on the roofs is ongoing. Crews will be able to complete the parking lot areas and then do landscaping as weather permits.
Highland Middle School
Highland is in for permitting with the City of Bellevue and the Conditional Use Permit hearing will take place in mid-April. This project is expected to be advertised for bid in late April, pending the outcome of the hearing.
Clyde Hill Elementary School
The Clyde Hill project was advertised for bid on March 14 with bid opening scheduled for April 26. Upon successful bidding the school board expects to award the contract in May. Contractor Notice to Proceed will be given on or about July 1, 2018.
