Congratulations to Medina students Bella Yan, who was named the Level 1 winner of this year’s Washington State Letters About Literature contest, and Saanvi Subramanian who received an Honorable Mention.

This year 2,418 letters were submitted to the contest and Yan and Subramania were selected out of 92 semifinalists. The state champions will advance to the Library of Congress’ national competition.
