The report included a review of the district Safety and Security Plan and a references to a Framework for Safe and Successful School Environments and Best Practices.
Board Director Christine Chew recommended that the board approve four Washington State School Directors Association (WSSDA) Legislative proposals: Call for Law Enforcement School Resource Officers in the Northshore District, School Safety, Social Emotional Learning and Firearms Regulations. The board approved the four proposals with two amendments to the Firearms Regulations proposal.
