2023-24 Sports & Activities

Lists of sports offerings and registration dates for 2023-24 school year sports and required forms are posted in FinalForms.  These sports listings are not open for registration. Families are encouraged to complete required forms before the school year begins in preparation for participation in sports, activities, and field trips.  Students with an active district email account should also sign their forms now.

Jubilee REACH sport offering by season and open registration dates are located on the Jubilee REACH Middle School site.

  • Due to a high level of student interest in middle school athletics, all Jubilee REACH Sports and Activities will perform registration through a Microsoft Form to gauge student interest.
    • This form is only accessible through your students BSD email account.
      • Parents: You are not able to register on your student’s behalf. It can only be done through your student’s BSD Outlook account.
    • Jubilee coordinators then load all selected participants into the FinalForms roster for that sport.
    • Important Note: While middle school sports will show as visible in FinalForms, registration for them takes place via Microsoft Forms.
    • Athlete selection is by lottery when interest exceeds the maximum number of team participants.
  • Students: Please express your interest when the registration period opens
  • If you have any questions about Jubilee REACH Sports/Activities, please reach out to your school’s Site-Coach.

Required Forms

To be eligible for athletics and activities offered through Jubilee REACH or your Middle School, visit the FinalForms webpage to complete the required forms for your student.  Jubilee REACH or your Middle School staff will contact you via email before the sports season begins with more specific details about practice times and event schedules.

Please note the following when completing the online forms:

    1. Forms must be completed by the parent or legal (court appointed) guardian of the student athlete.
    2. Parents/guardians can find instructions in the Parent Playbook for FinalForms.
    3. Parents/guardians can enter multiple students in one FinalForms session.
    4. Students are required to sign a few of the required forms in FinalForms using their district (BSD) email account as their user name. Students who are new to the district will not have access to their BSD email account until they are issued a BSD laptop. Students must conduct their initial log in to their account on a district device for security reasons. As long as the parent/guardian forms are completed and other requirements are met (see below), the student is clear to participate in sports (and activities). Students are expected to sign their forms as soon as they have access to their BSD email (within the first week of starting classes).
    5. IMPORTANT NOTE: Middle school students are not required to obtain a sports physical or ImPACT concussion baseline test  to participate in Jubilee Reach or Middle School athletics and activities. The sports physicals (signed by physician) and ImPACT tests are required beginning in 9th grade for High School Athletics.
    6. When you add or update information in FinalForms, you must also add/update that information in ParentVUE.
    7. Problems registering? Contact the Athletics and Activities Office: [email protected] or 425-456-4278.

The following is important BSD Athletics Eligibility Information for ALL incoming 9th Graders

Second semester of 8th grade prepares you for high school.

All students, including 8th graders, who are interested in participating in high school athletics must remain engaged in the classroom. A current 8th grader who does not pass six credit bearing courses during second semester of 8th grade (ending in June) must meet with the high school athletic director to:

  1. Outline a plan for academic success, and
  2. Review academic probation requirements the student will be held to as an athlete.

This meeting occurs during the first two weeks of the Fall Sports Season for Fall student athletes and the first two weeks of the Winter Sports Season for Winter student athletes.

For the 2023-24 school year, initial Academic Eligibility for student athletes will be determined between Monday, August 21 and Friday, August 25, 2023. Student athletes must also be passing six credit bearing classes at subsequent grade checks throughout any sports season. Students who are not passing six credit bearing classes at a grade check are declared academically ineligible and therefore not able to compete for their team until the grades are remediated. Ineligible student athletes may attend and participate in practice, but not competitions.

Note: Summer School Courses may be used to address academic issues which arise at the end of second semester for the 2023-24 school year.
